ITS FINALLY TIME 😱 ❤️
My name is Tosca Otten, founder and designer at @teder.world . With slightly nervous enthusiasm (I’ve always been independent) I’m launching this crowdfunding campaign at @crowdaboutnow . I’ve decided to go crowdfunding because I have big ambitions for Teder and want to grow this brand together with you.
Teder has two ambitious goals for the coming period:
⭐ Completing the ideal wardrobe for the modern and ambitious woman.
⭐ Presenting Teder in markets that connect the strongest to the brand, such as Shanghai and Seoul.
To achieve these goals I’m seeking 35 contributors that each are willing to invest €1000.
So....are you in?
There are multiple ways to boost Teder:
💸 a business loan (repaid within 6 years with 4% interest and attractive extra’s!)
🛍 buying vouchers for shoppings (with extra discount!)
🎁 gifting
You can find the campaign with the entire story at the platform of CrowdAboutNow:

In case you’d want to know more about the plans, contact me via [email protected]
⏳ The campaign is running until October 2nd 2024.
A few weeks after this I expect my second child, and yes, this is also the modern-woman-image I’m talking about ;)
🙏 Will you share this post in your network as well?
Thanks loads!
I need your support with @teder.world !

Next steps with @teder.world
In the past months I’ve been in in a very exciting rapid. Whilst finalizing my second Teder collection (Summer 2025), I’ve participated in the @fem.start x @rabobank training to learn about investments and pitching. During this training I came to a lot of realisations about my business and what I really want to bring into the world with Teder. I got to train to pitch for investment with a panel of experts, under more with Erik Versnel, Peri Bakr and Esther Kuip. Whilst being indulged in inspiration by other female entrepreneurs. Also a big thanks to Jannah van den Berg for working with me closely on my pitch.
I’ve got to experience a mindblowing fundraising evening at the @amsterdamdinnerfoundation with under more @marianspier , Monique Pennings, Ilse Kwaaitaal, Michel Scholte and Ronald Smit. In the midst of a spectacle of glitter and glamour, conversations were about sustainability and a better future, practised in many different industries from various perspectives. Needless to say, it was an inspiring evening.
I’ve taken a short trip to Paris to launch the Teder (Pre-)Summer 2025 collection for wholesale at @kandhcomms where it’s being presented alongside @motherofpearl and @shoprhode . I’ve researched stores such as @printemps , @samaritaineparis Paris Pont-Neuf and the brand new @doverstreetmarketparis to analyse the current luxury market offer, brand mixes and trend-movements. Also a big thanks to @martinevb99 for your support in my Teder-adventure everytime I visit Paris! The collection will now move on to Milan for further wholesale presentations.
Last but not least, Teder is featured in @janmagazinenl 07 with a shopping feature by @sannekemandjes .
And on top of all that, I’m now halfway my pregnancy, carrying around a bouncing bowlingball at all times who’s joining me every step of the way :)
I’m absolutely grateful for this enormous lift in experiences, connections to other inspiring women, learning
‘All roads lead to Rome’
Sigh
I don’t know what it is with Paris but everytime I visit there is a ginormous pile of things just really not in my favor.
Everything started great. My dad picked me up at 8am and dropped me at the station, the bus (I took a bus to Brussels to save costs as the Olympics made Eurostar prices higher) was on time, all was fine. The rain started…and the traffic got worse. We were getting more and more delayed and it was starting to look like I was going to miss my connection from Brussels to Paris.
Lucky for me the train was delayed thanks to demonstrations. I’ve never been so happy about demonstrations..Then the train didn’t move…it kept on switching electricity on and off for about 20min. Until it finally departed. Time for a nap…
We arrived in Paris around 3:15pm. As I got taken on a full on tourist BS trip last time in Paris when I took a regular taxi, I decided to request an Uber. The station was packed with traffic. The Uber went further away and the waitingtime only got longer. So I changed to another driver. And again. And about an hour later I had finally landed my pregnant butt in an Uber, on my way to my sales agent. In the Marais. Usually a 10min drive tops. It took over 30min…
I helped @kandhcomms a bit with steaming and hanging before I moved to meet my besties at night. I also was lucky to meet up with @studiokaeran and got endulged in her wonderful world of Japanese treasure. If you are in Paris this week you really should pop by.
We had a lovely dinner outside in the area that we all used to live and all was great. The food was fantastic, typically French with a load of butter and garlic, and the day seamed to end wonderfully. Time to move to my apartment, owned by my friends.
Around 23h I arrived and the idea was that the keys were in the letterbox. But it was closed. So I couldn’t get them out…I called my friend who’d asked her husband to prep this little mailbox trick and he might’ve mi
Is it a gallery?
Is it a home?
In fact it’s both.
Together with @sandrakejaplanken_noun I made a wearable art piece named ‘Wearing Visual Sounds’, which you can find at Salon H-ome during @amsterdam.art (appointment only)
It’s an art piece made locally by hand, sculpted from sustainable materials/yarns. The fabric, designed by Planken, morphs around the body into a garment where I focussed on capturing the organic nature of soundwaves and fluid asymmetrical lines.
The piece is worn by Sandra combined with Sol Trousers of @teder.world 🤎

New article out on @teder.world via the sweetest @heatherserry for @elegance_nl ❤️✨
This article also dives a bit deeper into how the collection came to be, also from a mom perspective 👩👦
Thanks Heather ❤️
Starting the week with some of my favorite clippings!
For TOS gallery I worked with @coeberghpr where the best stylists popped by regularly to pick editorial pieces. It was a dream come true to see my pieces apear in for example @grazia_nl, @ellecroatia, @talkiesmagazinenl and @contributormagazine ✨❤️
Just randomly dropping some print portfolio work 🖌️👩🏻🎨
Just found out that I never posted these analogue shots!
They were taken during the first streetstyle shoot for TOS gallery, when I started exploring content creation. This was for silk scarf collection ‘The Mermaid Series’.
Designed, styled and photographed by yours truly 😌❤️
A while ago, I worked with @xlenette on a really special lingerie project. It was the very first time I designed lingerie and oh my is it a world on its own! It’s very very technical yet with the most delicate materials. I absolutely loved working on this project together. Here are some BTS moments 👙🎞️
Throwback to my work for ILJA ✨
Before going freelance, I designed the RTW and Couture for @iljaamsterdam and had a very wonderful creative playground. Not only did I get involved with design, but as well with thinking through the entire visibility: The show, the show music, casting direction, walking order, show shoes (designed with @renevandenberg ), hair & make-up direction, the invitation-design and of course the lookbook direction & styling. It was a dream come true!
These are my favorite looks of my favorite show: Assimila, a softer side of the brand at that time, inspired by assimilation and skins of various living creatures. You might see elements of reptiles, jellyfish and other creatures who’s skins are very much a story on its own. It’s the most fluid I’ve ever designed.
