Commonplace Studio is the design practise of Jon Stam & Simon de Bakker, focused on context driven objects, quality craftsmanship and quiet interactions.

Their designs address contemporary issues such as the increasing lack of tactility and other challenges posed by the digital. de Bakker and Stam are also lead teachers in the Digital Craft Program at the Willem de Kooning Academy.
