WorldPride has officially started.

Yesterday marked the official opening of WorldPride in Amsterdam at De Nieuwe Kerk, alongside the inauguration of the walkofpride.amsterdam monument. We are incredibly proud that our founder, Robert Meijer, has been honoured with a bronze tile in recognition of his invaluable contribution to LGBTQIA+ emancipation in the Netherlands.

The day also celebrated the launch of ‘Queer Amsterdam – Atlas van de roze stad’, published by WBooks and De Nieuwe Kerk. We are especially proud that the book includes a chapter on Amsterdam’s fe**sh community, written by
