"In the Netherlands, 18 percent of the population aged 15 or older is LGBTQIA, an abbreviation that stands for le***an, gay, bi-plus, transgender, q***r, intersex and asexual. This amounts to approximately 2.7 million people. Today, on Coming Out Day, Statistics Netherlands (CBS) is publishing an estimate for the first time of how many LGBTQIA people live in the Netherlands and whether and how they differ from the rest of the Dutch population in terms of various background characteristics." - Centraal Bureau Statistieken

Coming Out Day is like the ultimate unboxing event—everyone gets to reveal their true selves, and it’s way more exciting than any gadget! It’s a chance to say, “Surprise! I’m fabulous!” and remind the world that love is love, even if it comes with a side of glitter. Plus, who wouldn’t want an official day to celebrate being unapologetically themselves? It’s basically a party where the dress code is authenticity, and the only requirement is to be your true, fabulous self!

Our Story

In 2004 we started an adventure, the opening of a gay lifestyle store in Amsterdam: G**s&Gadgets. Throughout the years we have been at the heart of our community supporting many events and organisations. In 2009 we opend the Gay Tourist Information Centre (GAYtic) offering independend and comprehensive information on the GLBTI community in Amsterdam. And in 2012 Underground Fe**sh was added with a great collection of fe**sh gear and B**M equipment. Finally we started a cooperation with San Francisco based Mister S Leather in 2014 and Mr. S Amsterdam was added. The adventure became a journey, the road was sometimes bumpy, but the goals stayed the same: providing quality products that every gay man needs. And we intend to do so for the years to come.
