The time has come to officially say our goodbyes 👋

As of today, our webshop has closed. We want to especially thank you, our customers around the world. You gave us the trust and positivity to develop more sustainable products and grow our social business, making you pioneers just as well.

Also, a big shout out to all the wonderful volunteers that joined our mission. We couldn’t have done it without you. And of course we would like to thank all our employees here in the Netherlands and in Nepal, freelancers working with us and all our partners.

Our leftover stock found a good cause 💛

We made sure our leftover stock of clothing ended up somewhere good. We donated it to different charities around Amsterdam. One is De Regenboog Groep, a charity supporting people who have difficulties finding their place in society, from locals to refugees. Another is Help Meehelpen in Heemstede, set up by Galina Kuklenko to support refugee mothers and their children from Ukraine.

Our foundation STUDIOJUX.ORG will continue our mission to create a positive impact and support the factory in Nepal.

Happy International Women's Day! 🌟

At STUDIOJUX.ORG foundation we strongly believe in women empowerment as the key to break the cycle of poverty and poor living conditions. Since our establishment in 2013, we offer women in Nepal a chance to have a happy + independent life by supporting tailors, women empowerment projects and social enterprises that are based in Kathmandu.

Did you know that after marriage, most Nepalese women move in with their in-laws and take care of them? It’s not common for them to have a job. Studio Nepal provides vulnerable, underprivileged yet powerful, and strong women with meaningful and decent work. Together we are showing that it’s possible to change the way products are made and how to create impact at the same time.

Unfortunately, studio JUX has to close its doors, but the STUDIOJUX.ORG foundation will continue and support the factory in Nepal. Studio Nepal will be able to continue producing fair trade and sustainable textile items for brands and retailers, cultural organisations, foundations and businesses.
