All of our Atelier items are available on a made-to-order 🛠️ basis through our online boutique or DM. We are using small batches of deadstock and organic fabrics and only make what’s really been ordered by customers. This way we usually have several ex*****ons of one particular item, each in a different type of fabric but always keeping the same silhouette.
The details however are the make up of each style and they are the ones we play around with, in order to create another new edition of an existing family member.

The checked black & off white FU FU jacket above is actually a variant which emerged from our BAO BAO jacket (the bonded black woollen jacket, left on b&w photo above) yet its look is entirely different 🪄 🎩.

The MAKI pants 🛠️!

These are made in a very nice and soft (deadstock) viscose & cotton blend with metallised fibres to achieve the wrinkle effect.

The cropped pants come in an oversized baggy silhouette, featuring front pockets, elasticated waistband and a drawcord inside, and extra chunky hand-stitched 🪡 back pockets. Inside they are lined with a silky smooth cupro fabric. The pants can be worn both high or low waist.

They match perfectly with TAI TAI blazer, which is crafted in the same fabric, and MING MING shirt made in an organic cotton poplin.

Close up of FU FU jacket 🔍.
Next photo features FU FU & BAO BAO jacket.
These two are sharing their silhouette; a roomy double breasted blazer. Yet what distincts the twins is besides fabric, the details and ex*****on.

FU FU jacket is made in a deadstock wool twill fabric with a black and off white baker check ▫️▪️, and has been lined with light padding. Two multi stitched straps (padded with soy fleece), and invisible buttons inside, are closing the jacket at the front.

BAO BAO jacket is made in a beautiful, crunchy bonded boiled wool and aluminium fabric , through which the jacket can be ‘moulded’ into shape 🖤. It has signature raw edges all over and an aluminium detail at the body ‘s hem.

Both jackets are perfect for use all-year-round (except perhaps hot summer days!) and can be obtained as made-to-order pieces in our online boutique 🛒!

We’re excited to share a glimpse 👀 of our latest photoshoot, featuring dancers and performers Jon Wino and Rylee Luna, captured by amazing photographer Alex Avgud 🎩 !

Through merging photography with choreographed performance, Alex explores issues such as migration, sexuality and the relativity of freedom. His black and white imagery ranges from very human and intimate to contrasting, graphical abstractions of mere shapes and silhouettes.

With Jon and Rylee’s expressive motion and our collection of oversized, monochrome silhouettes, this series explores the tension between body and space, form and absence—an interplay of alienation and connection 🖤.

MING MING shirt in an off white ⚪️ washed organic cotton poplin with peach touch. It’s based on a farmer’s shirt and made in an oversized silhouette, featuring large cuffs, uneven plackets at the front and lots of raw edges. MING MING can be found in our online boutique and is available as a made-to-order piece 🛠️.

Currently we are working on a new member of the MING MING family; one that’s crafted in a deadstock cotton and linen blend fabric, having a very thin stripe 🖤.

Within ANTS. we are focusing on creating newness by extending our current family of silhouettes and styles in newly curated deadstock fabrics. Hence we put a lot of effort into finding the right textiles 🥽 that match our oversized silhouettes and give the items the right edge.

The SOY coat, crafted in a beautiful soft, warm & cosy pilled woollen fabric at the outside, and a silky smooth cupro lining on the inside. The coat is having an oversized silhouette and has an x-long line, featuring a kimono collar and exposed raw edge topstitched seams at the sides and back. It’s having an extra, extra long padded and multi topstitched belt, which is coming through small openings at the frontside’s armholes, hence the belt is only visible and tied at the front.

There is only one of these beauties left 🖤 on a made-to-order basis!

This is our MISO coat in a stunning black & white silk blend deadstock fabric 🖤.

We put a lot of time and thought into curating a beautiful range of deadstock fabrics, making sure they’re the right choice to be transformed into an item in the ANTS. family. They can make or break a style, and they should give each piece its own character.

By carefully selecting these fabrics, we not only give them a second life but also ensure that every ANTS. garment carries a unique story. It’s important to us to make thoughtful choices — because the right fabric doesn’t just shape a garment, it defines it.

TAI TAI blazer & MAKI pants, in crunchy cotton/viscose blend with metallised fibres.

Our made-to-order items are hand crafted in our atelier in Amsterdam 🪡. Creating a garment, from sourcing one-of-a-kind deadstock fabrics, to making patterns, cutting fabric and stitching, is a meticulous and lengthy process. Especially certain intricate details and finishings require extra love and attention 🖤.

By creating items piece by piece and “knowing” whom we are creating for, we infuse every garment with lots of intention and care. We hope in turn it is being worn and cherished until the very last thread!
