💚 I did wear the Edwardian shoes lots already matching Edwardian things in my shop 💚

✂️🧵 working on this sewing project & trying out different drawstrings, as the authentic cream-coloured cotton cord has become bit hard to find. Sometimes the best solutions come from experimenting with new materials!
Twisted the black cord together into a double strand to make it a bit sturdier as a drawstring.

Beauvoorde Castle is a 17th-century moated castle in Wulveringem, near Veurne, Belgium. A romantic time capsule by eccentric 19th century noble Arthur Merghelynck, he restored the ruins (at the time) the interior acts as a time capsule filled with antique furniture, 17th century paintings, and gilded leather. Lots of pieces collected by Arthur to make it into a '17century' castle cause he loved history & the 17th century ❤️
