A little message from one of the founders 🩵
We’ve been running By Studio Movimiento for almost two years now, and honestly… it just keeps getting more fun.
More and more people are discovering us. We’re receiving orders from people we’ve never met, and it still amazes me that people are wearing our shirts not only in the Netherlands, but around the world. That feeling never gets old, and I’m incredibly grateful and proud.
When we started, our dream was simple: to create sustainable, high-quality clothing that people could dance in comfortably and freely. What I never expected was that it would grow into such a kind, supportive community.
If you know me, you know I’ve always been the quieter one. In the beginning, I happily let do most of the talking whenever we met new people. And I’ve always preferred being behind the camera, filming others, rather than standing in front of it myself.
The life of an introvert building a brand… it’s been quite the journey 😂
Fun side story: this photo probably wouldn’t even existin this way if a complete stranger hadn’t encouraged us. Sometimes, all it takes is a little help from someone you don’t even know ;)
And funny enough, the thing that once scared me the most has become my favorite part of this journey: meeting people who share the same passion, hearing your stories, dancing together, and building something that feels bigger than just a clothing brand.
Personally, I hope to keep growing, keep showing up more, keep dancing with you (step 1: go more often), and continue building this beautiful Movimiento community together.
