WHO OWNS HISTORY?

A Conversation Piece in dialogue with Barbara Kruger.

A broken blue-and-white ceramic fragment, set in a rough grey frame and carried on a red ring band. Not nostalgia. Not decoration. A question about heritage, ownership and visibility.

Objects move through houses, auctions, depots and private collections. Some remain public. Others disappear.

Within Post-Colonial Gold, gold is not luxury but revaluation. The value is Visible Refusal: the refusal to accept history as closed possession.

Not an ornament, but a question on the hand.
