How do you design a space where every child feels welcome? Not just most children. Every child.

For Smáralind's newly renovated food court in Iceland, we designed a 21 m² play corner that blends seamlessly with the interior while creating a place families genuinely enjoy spending time. Inspired by Icelandic nature, every detail was carefully considered, from the warm oak finish to the custom-built ice cream truck.

But beautiful design was only part of the story. The play area is fully accessible for children of all abilities, including wheelchair users, because everyone deserves the chance to play, explore and belong.

A visit to the emergency department can be overwhelming, especially for children. That's why we created this Safari-themed play corner at Catharina Ziekenhuis Eindhoven. 🦒

With custom giraffe fences, our Cactus Softplay, Delta 21 and Memory Wall Game, we've created a dedicated space where children can play, explore and take their minds off the situation around them.

Today, we received a phone call from a customer who simply wanted to tell us how happy they are with the new play corner in their dental practice. 💙

A little while ago, we completed this project at Familie Dental Zorg Leeuwarden. In our previous post, we shared the first part of the project. This is the completed result, featuring three additional play elements.

Not long after the installation, the dentist gave us a call because she wanted to share how enthusiastic the team is about the play corner and the positive reactions they've been receiving.

She told us that children are excited to play the moment they walk through the door, while parents can relax before the appointment. In a dental practice, where children can sometimes feel nervous or anxious, that makes a real difference.

An unused wall. Kids who have to wait. A team that thought: this can be different. 🌿

At Heliomare Heemskerk, our Memory and Dresscode wall games were combined with a custom park-themed backdrop. From bare wall to colourful play corner. Kids get to play, parents wait a little more comfortably.

And this is just the beginning, more is coming 👀
