The Belgians Peugeot–BP–Dunlop couldn’t do without
Did you know Peugeot tried to win with a purely French team in 1958?
Spoiler: it didn’t go well. 😬
Only when the Belgian Flandriens returned to the payroll in 1959 and 1960 did the victories start flowing again — with flowers and cushions raining down on the podium! 🌸🏆
With legends like Rik Van Steenbergen and Pino Cerami (who casually won Paris–Roubaix at the age of 38!), Peugeot–BP–Dunlop became cycling history.
This iconic jersey from the 1956–1962 era is now back in our webshop — a tribute to the time when a Belgian engine powered a French machine.
