About Pashmina

Pashmina is the rarest of wool which comes from specially bred goats at Upper Himalayas at an altitude of above 18,000 ft. Primarily woven in India and Nepal for thousands of years, it is now highly demanded in the whole world. The tender hair from these goats are manually picked and spun into very fine yarn using manual Charkas. Each pure pashmina stole/shawl takes months of laborious input of human artisians.
