Today marks 8 years since the tragedy of Rana Plaza, in which 1134 garment workers died. Our thoughts go out to the victims and the families who lost their loved ones. Our promise is to never forget this tragedy. Our commitment is to continue tackling the challenges in the garment industry and bring dignity to everyone who suffers from social exclusion.

More than excited to pilot CEMBA's project together with for managing their pre-consumption garment waste and provide mattresses to the climate change refugees in Bangladesh. Our main priority is to improve the safety and dignity of the refugees impacted by natural disasters in Bangladesh. Kudos to our amazing people and stakeholders who made this happen

We are delighted to announce that CEMBA has been chosen as one of the top 100 sustainable Dutch initiatives. CEMBA will present its ideas to the members of the Dutch Parliament regarding the transition to a sustainable society. The event will take place on 3 September in the Dutch Parliament.

Almost 70.8 million people have been displaced in 2019 due to the conflicts and disasters. In other words, one in every 70 people worldwide is caught up in crisis. At the same time the humanitarian response is not sufficient enough to cover the basic needs of the refugees letting them exposed to a life threatening risks. It is our humanitarian duty to think and act with humanitarian responsibility in order to secure the dignity of every human being worldwide.
