Album Highlight: LULU
By Conway the Machine & The Alchemist (2020)

This 2020 project is part of an insane run of releases from the Alchemist in 2020
which might have flown under the radar a little if you weren’t tapped in during the original release.

With both cinematic, grimy and gritty production from The Alchemist.
Conway also delivers hard-hitting raps throughout the entire project. His signature Griselda style bars references to his criminal past in Buffalo, rap culture, high end fashion and sports references.

Overall, this short EP from Conway and Alchemist leaves little to be desired, all I can do is to recommend checking it out.
This seems like the best project to get into Conway, and the Griselda collective
if you’ve never heard of any of them.

Album Highlight: BUSHMAN BODEGA
Daniel Son x Futurewave (2024)

An album from 2024 by Canada’s own duo of coveted underground rapper Daniel Son and producer Futurewave.
Futurewave brings his signature hard hitting grimey samples and drums, while Daniel Son complements this with his aggressive and punchline heavy bars.

More than enough quotables on this project from the track “Stone Cold”, “No Man’s Land” to “Musashi”.
There are just too many to pick from.

The project gets an assist from 5 features.
Consisting of well-respected underground rappers like:
Estee Nack, Rome Streetz, Al.Divino and fellow Canadians 36 Cypher & Raz Fresco

One of my personal favourites from the extensive catalogue of Daniel Son x Futurewave collabs with amazing beats and a crazy rap performance.
A project I have been putting my homies on (like fr)!
