Self-reflection is not always easy, but taking the time to observe our thoughts and feelings in the mirror can help us identify areas where we need to improve, learn to accept ourselves, or make positive changes in our lives. It's important to approach self-reflection with honesty, compassion, and a willingness to grow. So, the next time you face your reflection, try to view yourself with kindness and curiosity. Observe your thoughts and emotions, acknowledge your strengths, recognize areas where you need improvement, and take action towards becoming the best version of yourself.

To my mother.
Every day I grow older I realise how much I am like you, and how happy I am for that. Your kindness and love, your patience and calm, are inspiring for me. I have hope because when I see myself in you, I know one day I will get closer and closer to that wonderful woman you are today.
The distance has made it difficult for me to find the perfect mother's day gift, I wonder if I should surprise you with flowers, or arrange with my Dad a wonderful day for you. The truth is that the best gift I can give you every day is probably the most difficult one but I know it is what I want to give you, and it is to become the best and happiest version of myself and share it with you until the last of our days. For the Northamerican original tribes turtles played a key part in the world´s beggining story... they believed they carried the earth upon their back.

They are also known to be wise creatures that have witnessed the evolution of the world as we know it today, they are an emblem of wellbeing ("buen vivir") in many cultures around the world.

Between 1595 AND 1640, the Portuguese brought to Cartagena (Colombia) around 125,000 enslaved Africans, and during that Colonial period, in Cartagena’s one of the most important squares (plaza de la Aduana) there was an intense purchase and sale of slaves. For those who have visited Cartagena as tourists, they probably were able to visit all the places that were involved during colonial times and it is nowadays called “the route of the slave”. These 2 rings, are handmade in honour of the strong slave women that were passionate for life. for family and for their community to the end of their days.
