The copper makes it so shiny I can't even capture it on photos 🥲. I promise I'll make a little video of it tomorrow!

This piece will be made into a 3D artwork ❤️. I have something in mind, but let's see how it will play out when it's finished. Last time something completely different came out of my hands after folding the fabric than what I had planned. I love going with what evolves from it naturally ❤️.

4.45m long + fringes
Swiss silk warp
Supima cotton/stellina glitter weft dyed in pooling colours of soft pinks, gold, greens and greyish blue
Woven in lots of different weaving patterns, hearts, rainclouds, rainbows, flowers, crackle weaves
6 ladderstitches
16 embroidery stitches
Loose fringes on both tails

Morgen is het zover, dan openen op beide Pinksterdagen de deuren van ons atelier tussen 10.00u-17.00u aan Boliviaring 16 te Drunen, voor de 15e editie van de Routevandekunst in het zuidelijke deel van de gemeente Heusden (Drunen, Vlijmen, Haarsteeg en Nieuwkuijk).

Beide Pinksterdagen is het atelier te bezoeken en voor iedereen zijn er mooie items te vinden. Schilderijen, handgeweven kunst, tassen, keramiek, vrolijke kinderschilderijen, er is genoeg te vinden ❤️.

De koffie en thee staan klaar, jullie komen toch ook?!
