The sun finally showed up.

And you know what comes with the first real warmth of the year? Shedding a layer. (Or three.)

Bare a little more. Feel the air on your skin and remember that your body is actually quite glorious.

This season's lingerie is not what I expected — and I am completely here for it.
Pale pistachio. Champagne gold. And then — plot twist— jewel tones coming in hot!

Crimson. Amethyst. Jade. Turquoise.

Colours that have absolutely no business being this exciting in late spring and yet here we are. Lingerie that doesn't flirt with quiet come-hithers — it’s coming in hot!

This season's vibe? Less "getting dressed" — more "who needs clothes?"

Dress accordingly 😉

"I was operating more like a janitor than a strategic business leader."

Said a founder I worked with recently.

She knew exactly what her business needed. She had a brilliant idea with real potential — the kind that could stabilise her income and transform her model entirely.

But the day-to-day was stealing her time. The fittings, the admin, the operations of it all. All necessary. All consuming.

And her most important work was left waiting in the to-do list.

Sound familiar?

But here’s a 💡— You cannot manage time.

What you can manage is your attention. And most of us are haemorrhaging it without realising.

Every interruption costs you focus.
One ping. One "quick question." One sneaky inbox check. And the thread of deep focus is broken.

The busy work fills the space. The priority work waits.
And the longer it waits — the longer everything stays the same.

The good news is you don't need more hours.
You need better boundaries around the ones you already have.

→ Segment your days, not just your hours → Protect your priority project like it pays the bills (because it does) → Build a focus fortress — you don't have to be contactable every minute → Ditch the infinite to-do list and build a priority stack instead.

One uninterrupted hour of deep work is worth more than a full fragmented day of reactive busyness. Every time. ⏰

Got a passion project or side-hustle that keeps getting squeezed out by the to-do list or your day job? Drop it in the comments or send me a DM. I'd love to help you find the time. 💫

We all have weird little habits and behaviours that make us who we are.

So in the spirit of letting anyone new around here take a peek behind the velvet curtain, here’s a glimpse at the full picture. Because the work I do, and the way I do it, makes a lot more sense when you know a little more about the woman behind it.

Swipe through. ➡️

Now you know a little more about the woman behind the work — Did any of these surprise you?! Have you got questions?! What's one thing I should know about you? Drop it in the comments or send me a DM. I'd love to hear from you. 💫

This is almost too embarrassing to admit.

I am brilliant at the vision. The strategy, the experience, the feeling I want people to have when they walk through the door.

But the numbers? That was a different story entirely.

And I know I'm not alone in that. Not by a long shot. 🙋🏼‍♀️

***

Last year I wrote a blog about Victoria Beckham. Because in her Netflix documentary she talked candidly about throwing herself completely into the vision of her brand — the clothes, the aesthetic, the world she was building. All of it. Even the £70k a year on office plants. 🤦🏼‍♀️

And then she admitted she had no idea how to run a business.

I've been there. And it hurts. A lot.

***

The thing nobody tells you when you start…

Being brilliant at ‘your thing’ doesn't automatically come with a working knowledge of cash flow, profit margins, or why your bank balance looks nothing like your revenue.

Too many talented, capable women are sitting with a 'shameful' secret that isn't actually shameful at all.

It's just the gap between passion and infrastructure. Between the dream and the plumbing that makes it run.

***

Anyway, I posted the blog last year with zero expectation. A friend in Australia read it, bought the book, implemented the strategy, and transformed her finances almost immediately.

I didn't see that coming. But that's the thing about handing someone the right thing at the right time. ✨

The full story — Victoria Beckham, the book I recommend you stop everything you’re doing and read right now, and why I think every founder-led business needs this conversation — is on the blog. Link in profile pic. 👆🏼

A few months ago I started putting myself back through a business development programme.

Properly. Notebooks out. Post-its on the wall. The works.

And one exercise caught me completely off guard.
Not because it was complicated. Because of what it revealed…

I'd been doing things out of habit rather than intention. Absorbing industry norms without ever questioning whether they actually served me — or (more importantly) the clients I show up for.

Caught. 🫢

The exercise is called Red Ocean / Blue Ocean strategy. The premise is almost offensively simple — so, as a genuinely helpful thinking tool that might reveal something about your biz you probably can't see from inside it, I thought I’d share it.

Swipe to work through it. ➡️

Your blue ocean exists. Sometimes it just takes the right questions to help you see it.

What's the most surprising thing that came up for you? What's your blue ocean? Drop it in the comments and tell me 👇— I'd love to know — even if it felt like a bit much. Especially if it did.

Imposter Syndrome.

Someone gave it a fancy name.

Made it sound like a clinical condition.

And now an entire generation of capable, brilliant women are treating it as a reason — rather than a distraction. 🙄

But, let’s call it out for what it actually is.
“Mental chatter.”
That's it.

Which means it's not a problem to solve. It's a pattern to see through.

I've been reading Josh Pais's 'Lose Your Mind' on repeat since November (audio and hardback, Post-its and everything) and I keep coming back to it because it cuts through a particular kind of nonsense that I think a lot of us — founders especially — have quietly accepted as the status quo.

Confidence is a feeling that moves. It arrives, it leaves. Waiting for it to show up before you make your move? You might be waiting a very long time.

The light is green. 🚦
It always has been.

P.S. Want to be in a room where women don't just talk about doing the thing — they actually do it? HiveMind is my free, high-impact group mentoring session. Next one: Wednesday 22nd April, 9am. Link in profile pic. Or drop me a DM and I'll send you the link. 💫

I took one for the team and went lingerie shopping, locally, at the weekend.

Regretted it immediately.

Slim pickings. Patchy choice. And that special kind of fitting-room wobble that has you wondering whether the problem is your body.

(Spoiler: it is 💯 not.)

More often than not, the issue is poor options, bad fit, and generic advice that doesn’t take you into account.

Which is exactly why I care so much about helping women understand what actually works for their body — and why the right lingerie changes far more than most people realise.

If this has ever been you — standing in a fitting room, mildly offended by a bra and questioning your entire silhouette — I wrote this for you:

👙 Read the blog: How to Find the Perfect Lingerie for Your Body (and Why It Changes Everything) — at the link in profile pic.

Getting married?
✨ published a feature I wrote all about lingerie styling for the brilliantly bold, unconventional nearlywed.

It’s playful, empowering, and totally not what you’d expect from a ‘bridal lingerie’ article (spoiler: there’s not a beige strapless bra in sight).

So if you’re planning a wedding, dreaming up the perfect honeymoon wardrobe, or know a bride who loves doing things her own deliciously unconventional way… this one’s for you.

Inside the article, I’m sharing:
✨ how to choose lingerie based on your vibe (not old rules)
✨ ideas for the aisle, the afterparty, and the everything-after
✨ why beige strapless bras are officially cancelled
✨ a playful little lingerie dare list (because, of course.)

And yes… there may be mention of pearl thongs under ten thousand layers of tulle.

Read the blog & full article at the link in profile pic, or drop me a DM and I’ll send it direct.

This is what relaxation looks like.

🧘‍♀️Mental to-do list: Closed
📥 Inbox guilt: Nada
💅 Finger nails intact — no anxious gnawing over “will the team cope without me?”

Just Ibiza sun. Waves on the shore. And me. Blissful.

But when I owned my brick-and-mortar boutique, taking time off felt excruciating. I loved my business — but I had built something that couldn’t run without me.

If I wasn’t there:
Clients would wait until I returned
Highly capable staff second guessed how to act
And I was never (ever) off.

That wasn’t why I wanted my own business!
This was a trap of my own making.

I wanted freedom.
Something HAD to change.

So I set about designing a client experience that could stand on its own — whether I was physically present or not.

🛠️Simple processes.
💌High-touch moments that felt personal.
🌟A standard of care my team could uphold — with or without me.

It worked.

The team were stronger. The bottom line was stable.
And my sanity was saved.

And now it’s exactly what I help other founders create.

So if your version of 'success' still has you attached to your phone 24/7, we should talk.

You CAN build something people trust.
Even when you’re off the grid, phone in aeroplane mode, and sipping a piña colada.

If you’re ready to build the business you always dreamed of — in a way that supports you and your clients (and let’s you park your bum on a beach lounger this summer) — drop me a DM. 😎

💫 I’m SarahC—strategic wingwoman, and your go-to for strategy, operations & growth breakthroughs. I help small format fashion & lifestyle brands build confidence, boost performance, and create client experiences that actually convert.
