Chloé's Hayley bag was seen carried on the label's Fall '15 runway. It’s constructed from velvety olive-green suede leather, features a curved base and horseshoe stitching – both label signatures and finished with a knot-detailed shoulder strap. Great design and for once, a Chloe bag that isn't heavy! Now available in our shop in like new condition.

Chanel Sleeveless Mini Dress 'Greece' with Owl Embellishment

Under Karl Lagerfeld, Chanel has made a habit of taking its Cruise collections on the road to fabulous destinations, from Cuba to Seoul, and drawing inspiration from the local culture and style. That he did in Chanel Resort 2018 with a collection called 'La Modernité de l'Antiquité' that raised ancient Greece from the past.
Painted pottery was one of the most popular ways ancient Greeks depicted the human body in two dimensions. Lagerfeld reworked the motifs in column dresses with rows and rows of illustrations evoking the Greek originals.

Hermès Carré 90 'Jaguar Quetzal'

The 'jaguar warriors' of the pre-Columbian Aztec civilisation inspired Alice Shirley to dream up this big cat and its superb headdress, which is loosely inspired by the famous Penacho conserved in the Museum of Ethnology, Vienna. Made of feathers and semi-precious stones, this enormous headdress owes its beauty to the brilliance of more than 400 quetzal feathers. The quetzal is a tropical bird that lives in Central and South America, whose Aztec name means 'long green feathers'. The designer, who is passionate about the animal world, gives us a tender portrait: a sleeping jaguar 'dreaming of freedom'.

On display from Jan. 25 to 28 at at stand 49. NAARDEN the Art Fair is preparing for a beastly wonderfull 26th edition!
