New Pattern release! In loving memory of my husband Neil (1961-2023), keep blowing bubbles!
I love wearing giant shawls and totally wrap myself up in them. My husband used to ask me “ Another one???” when I had a new design on my needles. Well, sure darling!! A girl can never have too many.
Unfortunately, my husband, my biggest fan and model starring in my Stained Glass Scarf pattern, passed away in September 2023, quite suddenly. He was a huge West Ham United fan from when he was very young. Their anthem: “I’m forever blowing bubbles” was the inspiration for my newest design, the Forever blowing bubbles Shawl. Knitting this shawl helped me staying focused during difficult times. At the same time, the colourful bubbles make it a very happy shawl indeed.
