Adore this room! 💚 Seeing our Gustav design as curtains never gets old. Designed by the talented Vattekar Markman Interiors
The Gustav pattern is inspired by an old wall hanging woven by my grandmother on her large loom many years ago. What began as a handmade textile carrying family history and craftsmanship has found a new expression in contemporary interiors.
One of the things I love most about design is the opportunity to bridge past and present — carrying cultural heritage, stories and traditions forward in new ways. ✨

Sverresborg Stripe design 💙 Inspired by a traditional Norwegian Tavlebragd wall hanging from Mid-Norway, a weaving technique known for its rhythmic geometric patterns and structure.
Love using traditional patterns as a starting point — exploring how centuries-old designs can be reimagined and given new life in contemporary interiors. ✨

For me, design is often about creating a conversation between past and present.💙
