Hello everyone 👋🏻 lovely to see you here, welcome! We’re Gineline and Mette, the founders of KAOS. We’re sisters-in-law, mothers, and business partners — which basically means we’ve survived every possible combination of disagreement and still like each other😄

It all started standing in our own kitchens. Bulky high chairs that took up too much space, were hard to move, and frankly didn’t look good. We kept thinking: why hasn’t anyone solved this properly?

So since 2015 we’ve been building KAOS brick by brick — through years of research, prototyping, and honestly, a lot of trial and error. We teamed up with designers and engineers, tested ideas that didn’t work, redesigned them, and tested again. Because if something feels unnecessary, it’s gone. If it isn’t intuitive, it gets rebuilt. No shortcuts.

We believe baby gear should blend in with your style and interior, not fight it.
We believe waste and existing resources are some of the most valuable resources there is.
We believe things can be designed smarter and more beautiful — if you just have the grit to go the extra mile. No shortcuts.

Fun fact: the name isn’t a coincidence. When we first tried to describe becoming parents, one word kept coming up: *chaos*. A beautiful, overwhelming kaos of love, feelings... and an alarming amount of baby gear. So we named the company after it.
