Essence of Choosing Right Dress for You
Right from the beginning of human civilization, “DRESS/COSTUME” has always been of immense importance for one and all. It is truly a medium to establish identity of who we are, which ethnic group we come from and which community and country we represent.
Courtesy of one fine day in Kathmandu, me with my elder brother were sitting on the bench opposite to Basantapur Durbar Square where local people sell beautiful ancient articles, handicrafts, singing bowls and other antics. Then came a moment, when I saw a beautiful girl!!. Being a human, it is our tendency to be caught by everything that is beautiful and she was just that. The next moment, I wanted to tell my brother to just look at her. But obviously, I didn’t know her name and even if I did, it would not be possible for my brother to identify her from the crowd of appealing people walking around. What helped me in that situation was the dress she was wearing, I started describing her costume and my brother was able to identify her at once. It was just one simple conversation with my brother, but it made me realize about the importance of dress/costume when it comes to our identity. We did study during our school life - importance of cultural norms and value, about tradition, lifestyle and costumes of people from different communities, diversity and religions in our country, living in peace and harmony.
Having shared my realization to my brother, we came up with a concept, “Why not start a clothing business and help people enhance their identity by emphasizing the essence of choosing the right dress.” Keeping this in mind, “HELLO BEAUTIFUL” is here to serve you and to help you make your unique identity among other identities.
