Still smiling with all of these beautiful smiles, when I think about May 17th. ❤️
What a beautiful day it was as we celebrated two very special milestones, our store becoming a permanent home in Seattle and the launch of our new collection.
The space was filled with friends, clients, laughter, warm conversations, delicious treats, and so many familiar and new faces. Every smile, every conversation, and every person who walked through our doors made the day unforgettable.
A special thank you to my dear friend .rex whose live portrait sketches added such a magical charm to the event.
Watching her capture people in the moment was truly a charm that everyone loved.
I am forever grateful for each and every one of you.
Your presence, support, and encouragement validate our journey and remind us why we do what we do.
Thank you for celebrating with us, for believing in us, and for being part of this community.
Here’s to many more beautiful moments together. ✨

Forever grateful 🙏🤎

We choose to spotlight the makers, crafters and the creators, the hands that make it possible: the artisans and garment makers behind every piece.

2. Sujata Didi: Finishing supervisor, one who checks every piece and the quality controller.

4. Nani: Artisan Tailor
5. Sarswoti: Artisan tailor
6.Shilu: Artisan Tailor
7.Kamala Didi:Embroidery artisan
8. Basanti: Finisher

Every day is Earth Day.
Not just a reminder, but a responsibility we carry in the choices we make, what we wear, how it’s made and why it exists.
The Earth does not need us. We need the Earth to exist. And in that truth, consciousness becomes everything.
At Ekadesma, we believe in slow, rooted effort, staying connected to the Earth, creating with intention, and honoring craft, tradition and time.

This Earth Day and Everyday choose consciously. Choose Earth. 🌍🌱

As Nepal moves through this historic moments, with the new election results unfolding, we can not help but acknowledge and feel inspired by the women whose leadership helped make this possible.
In this international women’s day, though every day should truly be women’s day, we celebrate women whose courage and vision continue to shape our nation.

One stood at the highest court of the country, fearlessly fighting corruption and defending justice. At a time when Nepal faced political uncertainty, she stepped forward with courage and conviction. Despite criticism and immense pressure, she held election within 6month, one of the smoothest Nepal has witnessed. For her leadership, many respectfully call her Aama -Mother of the Nation. 🙏

Another woman stepped into politics at a young age in a space long dominated by men much older than her age. As a social activist, advocating for women’s right, freedom of expression and civil rights. She reminded young people that to change the system we must participate in it.Even during the final months of her pregnancy, she continued to stand with the people in the rallies. Just few days before election she gave birth and soon after, she won. Her determination has inspired many young people across Nepal to believe in alternative politics and the power of young leadership. Her win was quite like a personal win.
(The quote of her Tshirt: when youth lead, the nation progresses)

Strength does not always look the same.
Sometimes it is in the courtrooms.
Sometimes it is in politics.
And sometimes it is in the quite hands of women weaving, stitching and building livelihoods.

At Ekadesma, we celebrate all of these women, the visible leaders and the unseen makers.
Because every stories we stitch is carrying a future….

It might be little late, but following trends is never our thing 😉. We took a moment to pause, reset and reflect and now we are looking back at 2025 with gratitude. 🙏
2025 year we took leap of faith, year we stepped out of our comfort, trusted our intuition and opened a store in Seattle.
What followed was more than we could have imagined.
2025 will Always Matter to Us.
With deep gratitude for everyone who supported, showed up, believed in us, and walked alongside with us. This year was year of learning courage and becoming.
And as we stepped into 2026 we do so with. Faith clarity and excitement, trusting our gut as always.

Happy New Year 2026!!!

Thank you for this collaboration
