About STEMP
Rooted in Kathmandu and operating out of New York City, STEMP creates fashionable, sustainable apparel with the highest standards of quality. We design menswear, womenswear, and a 100% handmade collection using h**p: an eco-friendly, sustainable plant.

Your Role
1. Work closely with design, production, and sales teams for smooth product development
2. Analyze market trends and customer insights to shape merchandising strategies
3. Support inventory planning, product allocation, and order management
4. Build and maintain strong vendor and supplier relationships
5. Reach out to other businesses to expand STEMP’s product distribution

Who Can Apply
1. Candidates from Business, Management or Fashion backgrounds
2. Management students with a strong interest in fashion are welcome
3. Minimum experience: 1–2 years in merchandising, retail, fashion or a related field

We are currently seeking a Fashion Design & Merchandising Intern who is passionate about ethical fashion and eager to gain hands-on experience in the industry.

What You'll Learn & Do
1. Assist in design development, from mood boards to prototypes
2. Support merchandising activities including sampling, sourcing, and production coordination
3. Contribute to photoshoot planning, styling, and content creation
4. Provide daily operational support in documentation, communication, and research
5. Collaborate with the team to ensure quality and sustainability standards are met

Qualifications & Requirements:
1. Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Fashion Design or a related field
2. Passion for sustainability and eco-conscious fashion
3. Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Canva)
4. Strong organizational and communication skills
5. Creative, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
