WeтАЩre back with what has now become our annual training workshop in the Himalayan regions.
For the past two years, we have been consistently working with women in these remote communities, and this year again, we had the opportunity to work with the "Office of small and cottage industry ", sankhuwasabha.
What may appear to be a simple training session to the outside world carries a far deeper meaning here. For women in the Himalayan regionsтАФwho often have limited access to financial opportunitiesтАФthis initiative is more than skill-building. It is therapeutic. It is a source of income. It is a way to sustain both their families and themselves.
Most importantly, it offers financial agency and a sense of true independence.
We are a profit-based company, yes тАФ but we strongly believe that business and community growth can go hand in hand. Alongside building a sustainable enterprise, we are equally committed to nurturing people, preserving the environment, and strengthening local communities. Our hope is to see this craft, this artistry, and this traditional knowledge continue to thrive for generations тАФ and to be recognized and valued by the world.
