Ouch…slight mishap last night has slowed market prep.

Flossy is feeling a bit sorry for herself, had a wee accident last night and ripped the skin off the bottom of my foot. The bathroom looked like a massacre had happened with blood everywhere. Darn thing bled like heck. Then to top if off our wee kitten took a liking to my blood, weird eh. Hence work on market prep has slowed a bit and my regular pool/walk sessions on hold this week as it’s problematic fitting shoes on. fans

Feeling very grateful to all those who are blood donors. Thankyou from the bottom of my heart. Unit’s no 34&35. Should give me some up and go, looking forward to that as am not feeling flash at all. Sorry to those of you whom are waiting a bit longer for your orders.

Happy Independence Day , and my grandmothers 112th birthday (she passed away age 92). This is the granny that taught me to sew when I was four years old, by hand sewing dolls clothes. Thankyou Granny Greer for gifting me this love of sewing, and all things creative. Granny was really the only grandparent I remember as all my other grandparents passed before I can remember them. My Granny was an outstanding lady, whom had a very good intellect, loved music, and a maths teacher. My Granny had a masters of mathematics, a very rare accolade for women of her generation. She was a strong capable caring lady, who raised six children and never raised her voice. I loved my Granny (except her rather musical snoring), and am thankful for the wonderful memories.
