The story behind our Lalaga Throw 🤎
As PELE grew, I knew I didn’t want the brand to stop at baby products.
Our homes are such a big part of how we express culture, family and identity, and I wanted to create a PELE Home range that brought that same feeling of representation into everyday living spaces.
Our cotton throws came first, but the Lalaga Throw was our first recycled cotton woven throw — and our biggest yet.
I wanted it to feel substantial and versatile. Something you could wrap around yourself, throw over the couch, style across a bed, take to the beach, or use for those everyday family moments.
But most importantly, I wanted it to feel unmistakably Pacific.
Bold. Warm. Detailed. Familiar.
Seeing this piece go from an idea in my head to something used in homes, at shoots and in family spaces has been such a special part of building PELE Home.
For me, that was always the vision:
taking cultural representation beyond baby products and into the home.
