Absolutely honoured and proud to announce that myĀ Aotearoa National CostumeĀ has wonĀ Best National CostumeĀ at the Face of Beauty International Pageant worn with grace and mana by our New Zealand Face of beauty Queen,Ā  . šŸ‘‘šŸ‡³šŸ‡æ

This design was created usingĀ recycled materials, inspired by the colours and textures ofĀ PapatuānukuĀ ā€” our whenua, our greens, our earthy browns, our natural essence. A celebration ofĀ Māori artistry, sustainability, and storytelling.

To see my vision of Aotearoa come alive on an international stage in China placing 1st is a dream come trueā€¦ I am beyond grateful.

An update from MešŸ„°šŸ„²

After much thought, Iā€™ve made the tough decision not to travel to Dubai this year to compete at the Mrs Tourism International pageant on 25th of September 2025 as Ms Tourism New Zealand 2025.

This wasnā€™t easy to step back from, but I know itā€™s the right choice for me right now.
I believe when you commit to something, you give your ultimate best ā€” thatā€™s how I roll. We donā€™t do things half-pie.
To me, standing on an international stage is about being fully prepared, fully supported, and able to shine with confidence. Unfortunately, the timing, and the lack of support from the team made it difficult for me to feel ready in the way I needed to. On top of that, I wasnā€™t able to raise the full funds in the short time frame given, despite trying my hardest to secure sponsors.

But this is not the end. šŸ’« I will be competing next year, and all of my focus and fundraising will go towards preparing properly so I can represent New Zealand the way it deserves ā€” strong, confident, and unapologetically giving it my all.
To everyone who has encouraged and supported me so far ā€” thank you, truly. This journey is only just beginning, and 2026 will be my year to step onto that stage with everything Iā€™ve got. ā¤ļø

Layers of silk and chiffon move like flames, while metallic threads glimmer like sparks caught between life and death. She represents every fall turned into flight, every scar reimagined as strength. The Phoenix is not afraid of burning, for she knows that within the ashes lies her power. She is eternal resilience, the embodiment of transformation, a radiant symbol that no matter how many times she is broken, she will always rise higher, fiercer, and more unstoppable than before.

She is wild, unapologetic, refusing to be controlled ā€” for the fire within her cannot be dimmed by anyone elseā€™s hand. She burns for herself, for her truth, for the journey she has survived. In her, we see the power of a woman who will never again shrink to fit the shadows.
