All ready for Halloween 👻🎃

Victoria stitched our Personalized Trick or Treat Bag for her daughter Clara. Dark fabric is new for her, so she "changed up the colours a little to work on the darker fabric", and those pops of orange and pink look great. Spooky and sweet. Lovely work, Victoria! 🧵

Grandma made the cutest boo bag 👻💜

Michelle’s very first embroidery project was our Personalized Trick or Treat Bag, made for her granddaughter. “My first project, my granddaughter’s boo bag! Very pleased with how it turned out”. And that pink ruffle bag is too sweet. She says she still needs to work on her satin stitch, but we think it looks great for a first go. Lovely work, Michelle! 🧵🎃

Alaina stitched our Halloween Stitch Sampler and swapped the words in the middle for “Spooky Season”, and the group loved the change. One member even said it gave them inspo for their own! Georgie is a UK-based embroidery artist whose designs are inspired by the British countryside, seasonal flowers, folklore and night skies. She’s known for combining layered fabrics with beautifully textured stitches and intricate little details, creating designs full of character and a touch of magic.

With a love of slow stitching and thoughtful making, Georgie encourages makers to enjoy the process just as much as the finished piece. This one is a rewarding challenge for our Super Confident Makers who love taking their time over a special project.

Watercolor + one very festive hedgehog 🦔🎁

Victoria is on a watercolor streak: "Really love the watercolour embroidery at the moment so I had to do the cutie hedgie!" Her new calico was thicker than usual, so the paint didn't spread quite how she wanted, but she's taking it in stride: "you learn for next time!" That's progress over perfection.
