Whilst I’ve “ retired” I now have time to fossic thru my boxes of fabrics! Buttons and metres of trims, ribbons, threads, zips! You name it I’m sure I have it somewhere!
Something I’ve wanted to do forever is make some tailored shirts and some Jackets!
I had an important meeting the other day and I needed a linen shirt! So I opened many boxes till I found a bold black and white linen! It was perfect!
Also used some beautiful shell buttons I found at the local opp shop!
Let me see what else I can find!
( sorry about the messy workroom, us creatives get carried away!

I’ve retired from my work life! At last I am able to enjoy tripping away with my special person in my MH !Im enjoying smelling the roses and looking out to sea and enjoying the peace and quiet of the beautiful country side we have here in nz!

Have you ever been to the Opotiki Museum!
It is worth a day trip to spend 3 hrs looking through the exhibits and history of this wonderful town!
Where else can you get this much interest and entertainment for $10.
Such an amazing building , 3 stories of local history!
