Wardrobe Clear-Out & Storage Tips
Prepare for winter by doing a seasonal wardrobe swap:
🩷 Empty drawers onto a bed
🩷 Declutter by creating piles for keep, sell, store for next child, donate and mend/rag
🩷 Pack strategically by using vacuum sealer bags to save space
🩷 Store clothes in a cool, dry place. Use sturdy tubs to avoid mould/mildew
🩷 Label everything - label tubs with size and gender (e.g., "Girl Size 2-3") for easy retrieval
🩷 Donate - drop off gently used items to local charity shops
🩷 Resale - sell good quality, gently used, branded items online or at a local pre-loved market
🩷 Repurpose - cut worn-out leggings or tees into cleaning rags
