WE’RE TURNING 4! You’re invited to our Birthday Flea.

What better way to celebrate than doing what we do best: hosting a mecca for vintage + preloved clothing lovers?

The Nifty Flea is officially BACK for spring/summer, and our first one of the season is happening Saturday 3 October, right behind our big pink store.

WHERE: Behind Nifty, 306 Cashel Street
WHEN: Saturday 3 October | 10am–2pm

It’s somehow been 4 years since we opened the doors to our Cashel Street store (can you believe it?). So come have a rummage, get a kawhe, find something good, and celebrate with us!

Sell what you don’t wear > buy what you will > and repeat ‼️

Fashion waste is one of the planet’s biggest problems, and circular shopping is one of the simplest ways we can help reduce it!

We reckon consignment is one of the easiest ways to keep clothing in circulation (we’re a consignment store, if you didn’t already know, AKA we sell your clothing on your behalf!).
And one of our favourite things about consignment is that it can basically work like one big clothes swap.

You clear out the pieces you no longer wear, we sell them for you, someone else gets to love them, and you can use the credit from your sales to replace them with preloved pieces you actually want to wear.

Instead of your unwanted clothes sitting in the back of your wardrobe, they go back into circulation. Instead of always buying new when you want to refresh your wardrobe, you can shop from the huge amount of great clothing that already exists (and we see some of the best that vintage and pre-loved has to offer at Nifty!).

Plus, we do the selling part for you. When something sells, you get 50%, either paid out to you or you can keep it sitting there as store credit waiting for your next Nifty find.

A very big, ongoing clothes swap, basically. And we’re accepting clothing right now, so see you soon 🧷

We heard you, and it sounds like evenings might be a better time for a little online pre-loved shopping.

It’s that time of year, Ōtautahi! As the weather warms up, our consignment intake has shifted to spring.

What that looks like: tees, tanks, shorts, skirts, dresses (this is THE time to sell your dresses), linen, light jackets, lightweight knits/cardigans.

We’re no longer accepting most heavy winter pieces. However we still take those year-round wardrobe staples, like denim, hoodies, long sleeves, and lighter layers.

If you’ve been meaning to do a wardrobe clear-out, this is your sign (it is Virgo season after all!).

Bring your spring goodies in, freshly washed and folded. Not sure whether we’ll take something? Bring it in for our friendly team to look over for you!
