It is with such great sadness that in todays paper I have just read the passing away of one of my most beautiful, astute, savvy and lovely customers and friend, Anne Clearwater.
Oh Anne, how quickly this has happened, as only a month or so ago, you rang to say you were off to Auckland to visit family.
I have been very privileged to know you and the day we lunched together at The Tea House in Lincoln will be forever in my 'special moment' memories.
Until we meet again.

And so my wonderful people, some news. Next Saturday the 13th Dec will be the final day for The Deuce of Hearts in Prebbleton. The lease of the shop has been sold, and I will be vacating. Please pop in if you have items to collect, or if you're looking for that fantastic last minute designer bargain. Last chance now. I have so enjoyed creating my lovely little shop, and working with you all - my fabulous customers. We have all worked together so well, and it really has been an absolute pleasure. Things change, life moves on. I may think about relocating, and if I do, you will all be the first to know. Please also note that I am closed this Saturday 6th December for a family wedding. If you need to know anything, please dont hesitate to phone.

Hope everyone had a fantastic cup week! .
Anyone see The Press on Wednesday?? (day after cup day),- you would have seen the beautiful Olive rocking the catwalk in a gorgeous black and white dress she bought from Deuce of Hearts!! . Page A4. -- she looked amazing.
We are open tomorrow Tues from 10am, and Christmas is rolling in now. Party time again. !

I have some new dresses arrived yesterday. Sorry no pics, as my pc has broken down again. but beautiful silvery blue fitted dress (its in the window right now) would be gorgeous for cup day Sz 10 - 12, A white dress and jacket sz 16. A gold and black lace dress sz 14. - and several more. Also some new pre loved arrivals, including a deep red silk Trelise Cooper mid calf length gown, think about size 12. If you need a dress for cup day, you have just 3 days left. And just a note, I am closed ALL of next week. From Monday the 10th November, and reopen Tues 18th November.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. We are open Tues - Friday, from 10am till 4pm, and Saturday 12 -4pm. Some very nice shoes just in , size 39, and our usual array of gorgeous things! Pop in - Always good to keep an eye on things that are coming and going. We are especially looking for lovely plus size clothing at the moment for resale. Labels like Lucabella and TCD, TS, etc are always popular.
