The story of the Crown Range Blanket is one we’re particularly proud of. The wool begins at Royalburn Station in Arrowtown, before being scoured here in New Zealand and sent to the UK to be woven at the historic A.W. Hainsworth mill. This journey continues a longstanding relationship that began many decades ago, when John Betts, founder of our partner company Yaldhurst Wools Limited, started trading and exporting wool with A.W. Hainsworth, and where his son-in-law, Ross McGuckin, still does today. It’s a connection built on generations of knowledge, craftsmanship and a shared appreciation for exceptional wool.
The Crown Range NZ Wool Blanket brings together New Zealand wool, timeless design and a story spanning generations.
Inspired by the colours of the Arrowtown landscape, its palette combines signature forest green, soft camel, deep navy and rich barnyard red against warm wool white. Bold yet timeless, these colours bring warmth, character and understated elegance to any room.
Crafted from single-sourced New Zealand lambswool using a traditional double-cloth weave, the Crown Range has a beautiful thickness and luxurious softness.
