Venison back steaks...done rare on crossiants with cream cheese, fried onions, capsicum & mushrooms, bit of cheese then grilled and then some avocado & aioli.

Yep, a massive freezer filler & a bit of an adventure to boot last weekend. Luuka bagged the one antlered guy who they have been watching for sometime, with the boys & Zinny (pictured) doing the hard mahi!

Back steaks & a tonne of mince & delicious herb & garlic sausages....processed by the Walkers, Pukeatua Road, Otope.

With the weather on the up & the nights drawing out it's definitely time to get back into it!

From Tobys deer on Friday night we got away to a very special spot, around football etc.....
Toby managed an awesome trout which became a wicked dinner tonight, Luuka & the dogs hit the river & we got some pest control in. All managing a possum with MY Dads .22 that I shot possums with as a kid....Tobys age & even waaaay younger.

Adventures are important, so if you have a chance, just do it 😉

A bit of a Young Buck & Co. day today though. Luuka doing the mahi on farm 🚜 in Ag & Tobe, within the last half hour knocked this wicked eater over. Too much kids.
