Art by Eve McSoriley I love to draw ✍️ I love to sketch. I love faces, eyes and wrinkles. I love dresses. I love figures and silhouettes. If I like the look of something, I'll draw it.

As a child I filled countless books with doodles and drawings and scribbles. My sister Ruth taught me how to draw love hearts. I went through a phase as a teenager where all I drew was shoes. Just shoes. Until Mum was fed up and asked me to 'draw something else' so I painted my little brother's face in black and white paint. Then I fell in love with acrylics and wish I'd found them sooner! I adore

d Archie Comics and how the artists portrayed people so realistically yet so cartoon like. Tamara De Lempicka is my absolute muse.
