AMC Awareness Month begins today 🐝

Throughout June, TAGNZ will be joining the global Arthrogryposis community in raising awareness, celebrating achievements, sharing stories, and building understanding of life with AMC.

This year's theme is:
Be the Change

Change starts with awareness.

It grows through understanding, inclusion, advocacy, and community.
Throughout the month, we'll be sharing stories from New Zealanders living with Arthrogryposis, highlighting achievements, everyday experiences, resources, and the many ways our community continues to inspire and support one another.
Whether you are a person with AMC, a family member, a friend, a professional, or someone learning about Arthrogryposis for the first time, we invite you to join us this month.

Together, we can Be the Change.

💙 JUNE 30TH IS ARTHROGRYPOSIS AWARENESS DAY!! 💙

We are going to do a fact of the day for each day in June so you can learn a bit more about Arthrogryposis💙

🩵 AMC Fact of the Day 🩵
Some babies with AMC are born with joints that have never bent before. Their first stretches and movements happen after birth through therapy, splinting, casting and everyday care.



💙We are so very excited for June to help bring some awareness around our girl Hannah-Roses rare condition, you can raise awareness on the 30th of June by simply wearing Blue 💙

You can also donate directly to TAGNZ to help those in NZ effected, funds go towards education, physiotherapy, mobility, and so much more for those effected ✨️💙

Today Hannah-Rose got her hearing device fitted what a beautiful experience for her to be able to hear more clearly, apart from everything else she has been through she has also had a temporary hearing loss due to fluid in her ears from birth which hasn't drained at all, so while we wait for grommets this is what she will wear. She has always loved music so coming home and watching her listen to her favorite singer Jesse j today was so beautiful she was amazed even more then she already was listening to her 🥰

She handles everything thrown at her with such grace and strength not once has she tried to pull at it or take it off but thats just her,shes such an intelligent wee girl and adapts to everything so well. Love you so much Buttons ✨️ 🩷⚘️
