Spring on the West Coast 🌿🖤

Whitebaiting season, Agfest just around the corner and that classic West Coast weather that can’t quite make up its mind.

Winter sport is officially done for our whānau 🏐❤️

No more early starts and running from one thing to the next… now we’re heading into spring 🌱

But here on the West Coast, we all know spring doesn’t always mean warm! 😂 So there’s still plenty of use for a good pair of hand-knitted mitts and a hot cuppa ☕️🧶

Keeping the fingers free, the hands cosy and ready for whatever the weather throws at us.

Winter sport might be finished, but the knitting season never is. 🤎

This one is a special whānau project, so I’ve put the circular needles aside and gone back to knitting flat — row by row, piece by piece.
