Honey L'Amour may be gone but I certainly havent forgotten all the love I poured into that brand over the 10 years it was running. In honour of that I will be bringing back some of my favourite designs, with name changes.

This pattern will now be called ✨ Honey ✨
I created this pattern for the 'Rainbow Mermaid' dress (it never got an official name, but that one stuck at the time), then used variations of it for the 'Parisienne Doll' and 'Sweetpea' dresses.

Honey L'Amour may be gone but I certainly havent forgotten all the love I poured into that brand over the 10 years it was running. In honour of that I will be bringing back some of my favourite designs, with name changes.

A highlight reel of some of my favourite design moments 🤍
I have been cleaning out my Google drive and have come across so many special memories of clothing I have made for myself and others over the years. I have loved making every single one of these items (and every other piece not pictured), and I really pour my heart into every sewing project. Seeing these again has inspired me to start designing again, it has been a long hiatus. And if I'm being honest, it has made me really miss Honey L'Amour as a brand! Who knows, maybe it will make a come back one day.

My content on this page has changed a lot over the past few years. From vintage inspired clothing brand Honey L'Amour, to a new explorative creative space just being myself as Brigette Elizabeth. I have been watching the followers drop off like flies since I closed HL, which can be challenging in a world where we are lead to believe that the number of followers on social media somehow validates us. But I am enjoying creating more than ever right now. I am not sticking to a particular theme or method, there is currently nothing aesthetically planned here, but I am creating purely for the joy of it without any pressure. And it is magical 🩷

I have this Denim jacket that I don't really wear, I'm not sure why but it just doesn't feel very 'me'. So I'm adding some personal touches. I was going to just add one simple daisy to the left chest, and then some larger ones on the back. But one quickly turned to three, and now I don't know if I should stop or keep adding more! How many daisies is too many? Is that even a thing?
