Thank you to everyone that has been to purchase their sandals. Remember if there are any problems please come back so we can sort them out for you. Don't forget that I will be closing for two weeks from 17th Feb 2026 1st time in 10 years ☺️ so if you still need some sandals or McKinlays of Dunedin shoes we are open all this week from 10:30 till 4:30 Monday to Friday.

That time of the year again. Sandals will be $105.00 this year but if you pay by Cash - eftpos or credit card they are $100 so only if you pay by paywave they are $105.00. I will be open from 1030am to 430pm Monday to Friday and weekends by appointment only. We get through the sandals pretty quickly nowdays but just come with a bit of time just in case (put your feet up and relax for a bit). Dont be put off by lots of cars and people you might be next on the list. If you have repairs please get them up here asap so we can get them done. I will be closing for two weeks from 17th Feb 2026 so there will be no sandal making happening then.

It is with great sadness that we let you know Cooper passed away today. He has been at Taranaki Rubber since the day we opened and has met thousands of school children during the last 10 years. He really loved all the kids big and small. No more stealing shoes or pulling on your clothes. We are going to miss the big dog that thought he was cute and small and never understood that some people were scared of him. RIP big boy
