After working for the police for about 7 years, it takes a lot for me to be affected by ‘things in the news’ but todays news has had me crying several times.

💔I am just heart broken for all our sisters and future generations in America.
Stories like this, like the war in Ukraine that continue, they sound like things our grandparents went through and I naively thought those days were well in the past. I JUST DON’T GET IT 🤬

I reckon it’s hard getting back into feeling yourself after the time we’ve had. Hard to get outta the comfy clothes and find time to get your hair done and it’s looking, well not like you wanna feel! What even is the point of makeup when we’re covering our faces?!

So….I’m thinking we start small and simple. Start with some earrings, wear some every day and feel just that bit more sparkle. Are you up for it?
