At last feeling christmassy in our shops. One window almost finished - just more lights to go up. Under the sea theme this year. We will be offering some discounts over the Christmas week, the hot dog shop is open and running hot with great prices and the Argyle is humming after two years closed - also Hunterville Gifts, Salt & Honey clothing and Wool and Comb hairdressers. Honest Wolf with its bags and our chum Heather across the road from us Secondhand Stuff. Hunterville is alive and kicking over the weekends. Come and see us, buy a real fruit ice cream at Taylor’s, a cold beer from the pub, a hot dog from Klaus, antiques and collectable from us, interesting and quirky from Heather, recycle clothing from me (the Way We Wore), a few books from our bookshop, a lovely gift from Kelsey, new clothing from Salt & Honey and a nz wool bag from Honest Wolf.

Did you know we have a bookshop as well as a record/cd/dvd department, vintage and label clothing, and a mid-century/antique department too? We’re proud to have an amazing collection of nz books, including a Maori section and are looking for more all the time.

Cds are back. We have hundreds of new, good stock, crossing all genres, most as new. Come and take a look - 9 Bruce Street, Hunterville - open 10ish to 4ish friday , Saturday, Sunday. We are open other days subject to demand, but please remember we are clearing estates every week, so cannot always be there during the week. In case you didn’t know we also have a bookshop - specialising in NZ history, aircraft, wars, world, art and pottery. Look forward to seeing you all.
