Maunu Primary School, you made our week. 🧡

This is what $3,000 looks like when it lands in a school community.

Maunu Primary in Whangārei took home our May hoodie draw — and they're aiming to put it toward a new playground.

On Wednesday, Joel, Mark, Steve and Cherie from Frog Embroidery & Print drove out to make it official. The kids welcomed them onto the school with a waiata. The team got to meet the students who'll benefit, all of them wearing their new Cloke Edge Hoodies, embroidered by Steve and Cherie with the school motto on the back:

The Freedom to Soar.

That's what our 60th anniversary celebration and hoodie draw is about.

June and July draws are still to come: with $3,000 up for grabs each month.

Ever wondered what we do with clothes we can't sell?

We donate them!

Last week, we sent 2 boxes to Rarotonga. These are clothes that have small imperfections, like a stain, that mean they can't be sold as new.

Instead of throwing them away, we set those clothes aside for donation!

✨❤️ COMMUNITY KINDNESS IN ACTION ❤️✨

Yesterday, the Family Protection Service team had the privilege of meeting a wonderful couple from New Zealand, Allan and Alison Howie, who are currently enjoying a holiday here in beautiful Rarotonga. 🌴☀️

With generous hearts and a genuine desire to give back, they donated two boxes of brand-new adult clothing to support vulnerable individuals and families within our community. 👕👖💝

Allan Howie, who is a Supply Chain Manager for Cloke, a well-known New Zealand clothing brand. Through this generous contribution, Allan and Alison have demonstrated the true spirit of compassion, kindness, and community service.

On behalf of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Family Protection Service, we extend our heartfelt MEITAKI ATUPAKA to Allan and Alison for their generosity and support. May God continue to bless you both during your time in Rarotonga and in all that you do. 🙏❤️
