A little look at the outfit I made for myself for my FIRST EVER NZ Fashion Week 🥹🧵✨

I actually made it to NZFW… but unfortunately missed the show! 😭😂

Still, getting to experience NZ Fashion Week for the first time was something I’ll definitely remember.

And of course, I couldn’t go without wearing something I created myself. 🤎

This piece is definitely giving me a little taste of where I want to take Aketearo Mauri Clothing.

👀 SNEAK PEEK…

It’s been a little while since I’ve posted on my business page, so here’s a little update! 🧵✨
I’m currently creating a one-of-a-kind handmade garment for myself to wear to my FIRST EVER NZ Fashion Week event! 😭🔥

I decided to design something inspired by the direction I’m taking with Aketearo Mauri Clothing.

The difference? 👀
The pieces I’ll be creating for my brand will have my own embroidered patterns and designs, rather than using fabrics that already have patterns printed on them.

So this is just a little glimpse of what I’ve been working on… 🤭

Now I just need to finish it in time for NZFW! 😂🧵

I will vlog my experience and time during the event and you will all get to see what I put together in such a short time. Started last night need to complete it by 12pm tomorrow 👀 let's see how this goes 🥰

While we prepare for the official launch of our clothing collections, Aketearo Mauri Clothing will be offering a limited custom clothing service.

This gives our community the opportunity to work with us before launch and have unique garments created for special occasions, family events, church gatherings, performances, business uniforms, and more.

✨ Women's Clothing
✨ Men's Clothing
✨ Children's Clothing
✨ Family Matching Outfits

Available throughout New Zealand, Australia, and internationally.

As we continue building our brand and preparing our first collections, custom orders will be available in limited numbers to ensure every project receives the time and attention it deserves.

📌 A non-refundable $50 Design Consultation Fee is required before any design work begins.
This covers: • Consultation • Design development • Digital mock-up creation
💁‍♀️If Client is happy with design and willing to move to the next step that $50 will be included in total price

📌 Final pricing varies depending on design requirements, fabric selection, sizing, and order quantity.

Why? Products can not be completed until embroidery images are finalized 🧵 This is the critical stage that ensures every product meets the quality and durability standard we promised. We won’t compromise on it 💯

Next steps: The exact date will be confirmed once production begins. We’ll share a full progress update, so you’re kept in the loop.

Last custom order before launch guys 🙌 This order was requested by a beautiful wahine, who currently resides in Australia. Collar Shirt with a front pocket and a 2 piece girls outfit (crop cross back top with a matching skirt) I also added 2 scrunchies 🥰 I hope my customer loves them for her children and im glad i managed to pull this off considering my busy shedule (family, Studies (Te Reo/Level 5 Diploma in business/prepping for launch) Next step for me, construction of launch winter products 🙌 Stay tuned guys ☺ South Auckland home based business ☺😌🤌

Don't do a Ake thing guys 🤣 Nah but the manual wasn't in the box when I pulled it all out 👀 It was hiding behind the back seat part. I didn't see it until I took the packaging off the back seat part 🙈 haha not me already thinking about the bad review I was going to make once I put it together, because manual wasn't in there 😂 "aw nah" lol Slowly putting things together guys 😅 😂😂😂😂
