Ivonn Bridal Couture exists to create a new narrative in bridal fashion—one where Māori culture, identity, and design excellence are honoured on every level.

Born from a deep longing for representation in the world of luxury bridalwear, the brand was founded to centre wāhine Māori in spaces they’ve too often been absent from. This is more than bridalwear. It’s a movement of reclamation, reconnection, and refined artistry designed to honour the stories of our tūpuna, while empowering the next generation to express their mana in modern, meaningful ways.

I’m the founder and designer of Ivonn Bridal Couture, based here in Heretaunga. With 18years in the fashion industry , I’m proud to create Māori-inspired bridal kākahu that celebrate our wāhine, our culture, and our stories.

Each gown is more than a dress ,it’s a taonga, My mission is to empower wāhine to feel seen, heard, and beautiful in a gown that reflects their identity and legacy.
