❤️❤️ A Little Update from Meraki Creations ❤️❤️
In recent years, our pre-Christmas home events have truly been some of the most magical highlights of my journey as Meraki Creations. They’ve never been just about decorations or festive touches — they’ve been about people coming together, sharing laughter, enjoying food and drink, and creating memories in a space filled with warmth and joy.💫
That’s why this note carries a mixture of feelings to write. Life is shifting for me in many ways — family and personal commitments are calling for more of my energy and focus. Because of that, I’ve made the heartfelt decision not to continue hosting these events in the same way we have before.
I know that for many of you, these gatherings became a little tradition — something to look forward to each year. Please know that they have meant just as much to me. Seeing you all come together, and being able to create that atmosphere of belonging and festive cheer, has been such a gift 🙏
I’ll still be continuing to create with love and from the heart — that will never change although things may look a little different from how they have in the past, Meraki Creations will always be a part of me !!
In the run-up to Christmas, you’ll still be able to visit me and my home made creations at the wonderful Grape Escape Café, as well as at the occasional local market and other opportunities that may arise. I’ll share dates and updates on the Meraki Creations page so you’ll always know where to find me and what I’m working on.😊
I want to give a very special and heartfelt thank you to my loyal team of helpers — those on the front line so welcoming and supporting at my events and those behind the scenes helping in countless ways, even gathering natural ingredients and collecting jars for me to use in my preserving! And to my lovely friend Anne who has been by my side since day one , your encouragement, generosity, and kindness have lifted me more than you could ever know 🩷
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.... Thank you all for showing up, for supporting me, and for making these moments so special.
I’m excited for what’s to come, and I hope you’ll continue to join me as Meraki Creations finds new ways to shine.
