May I interrupt your scroll with the sweetest little baby bloomers you ever did see 🥰

I finished these size 0-3month bloomers recently while working towards a goal of mine to complete unfinished projects. I can’t believe these were sitting in a box untouched for so long! BUT, the good news is that they are now all done and on the website ready to find their forever home.

The softly textured pointelle fabric is what gets me every time. And I love a tiny flower print 😍

In this episode I am sewing a set of baby bibs. These bibs were cut out a very long time ago. Perhaps 3 years ago, or more!? And they have sat in the box unfinished because I no longer make bibs to sell.

This little dress is what vintage dreams are made of. A timeless silhouette, a whimsical floral print and made from tough 100% cotton for the girls that like to climb trees too 🌸

I used up the very last of this cottage garden print to make this short sleeve Bellbird dress.

It’s one of only a few pre-made items on my website at the moment. It’s ready to send in a size 6.

Most parts of my job are so rewarding and fulfilling. And then there’s the ironing, cleaning my overlocker and being covered in thread 😂

But out of all of these moments, my MOST favourite thing about this job is hearing from you that something I’ve made for your child’s is now their favourite outfit! I heard earlier this year that one little girl was wearing her new dress to bed every night and all day long because she loved it so much 🥰

This was a perfect school holiday activity! It engaged my 5 year old for over an hour. She’s so proud of what she has created!

Just take a scrap of white fabric (I had some in my stash but you might be able to find an old pillow case or T-shirt around the house). We used a magnolia petal and a leaf of silverbeet to make our own naturally dyed prints on the fabric. Thanks to my toddler’s hammer and a chopping board placed underneath, my daughter was able to create these patterns without any damage to the table. She really let loose and she had a great time creating these patterns.

What else would you use to make the patterns and colours from? I’d be keen to hear if you’ve tried this before and had great success!

Where a construction vest becomes wearable and CUTE 🚜🦺

My sister in law had this yellow blanket in her cupboard and asked if I could make a vest for my nephew. She bought the construction themed lining fabric to coordinate with it, and I just KNOW he’s going to be obsessed! I have made a size 4 for him which is a size or 2 bigger but he will be able to layer a jumper under it and he’ll be wearing it in two winters time, without a doubt!

The wool is soft and quite fluffy and the shade of yellow reminds me of spring chickens. It’s a very ‘sunny side up’ sort of yellow, and I just love it!

Do you have a little person who is obsessed with vehicles? I had to hide this fabric from my little guy because he would have wanted to wrap it around himself and drag it through the mud if he’d seen it 😂
