Littlekiwiscloset PDF patterns that are easy to sew and easy to wear. Hi, my name is Lydia. I'm married to Jonathan and we have 3 children. We live in Tauranga, New Zealand.

I have been sewing since I was 5, and I was born in 1982, so for a pretty long time. But I really only started sewing ALOT when my first child, Brylie (08) was born. Since then, I have had Elijah (10) and Portia (12) and they certainly keep me busy. I started designing in 2012

My very first pattern was the soft structured DOLLS carrier, and my very first clothing pattern was the very popular "peekaboo pocket pants"

P wants to enter an item in the sewing section at our local A&P show this coming weekend. So she is sewing a streetsmart sweatshirt with dragon wings.

Its been a lesson in patience for me, and also bringing to my notice that I need to be VERY CLEAR and purposeful with my instructions.

Dress is finished. It looks really bad on a hanger and without a petticoat. Will share better photos when I get them.

I had to give Chaos his own piece of fabric so he didn't sit on my cut out pieces. He tried 2 times before I moved them...

Whoops I forgot to get a before photo, but you get the picture. Not much left from a 3XL.

I got this shirt from an op shop last week for $2. Its beautiful 100% cotton fabric and it's quality, from Bond & Co.

I reworked it into a XS shirt for Elijah.
The unpicking and reworking of the collar took longer than making a whole shirt!! But it was worth it.
