Casual Seamstress Wanted: We're looking for an experienced, reliable seamstress to join our team on a casual basis. For our New venture Clothing Alterations Tauranga.

What we're looking for:

- Fast, efficient, and accurate
- Able to prioritise workload and work independently
- Friendly with excellent customer service skills
- Confident carrying out all types of clothing alterations
- Must be able to attach zips and shorten suit jacket sleeves (if you can do these, you'll be able to handle the rest!)

Hours: Tuesday to Friday, between 10:00am and 3:00pm (casual hours as required).

We’re excited to announce our new business venture, Burrows St Clothing Alterations!

Located inside our Helga May warehouse and outlet store at 33 Burrows Street (off Fifteenth Avenue), Tauranga, we offer professional clothing alterations, repairs, and tailoring services.

Our head seamstress, Leanne, has over 30 years of sewing experience, with many years dedicated to clothing alterations of all kinds. We’ve been operating for just two weeks, and the response from the Tauranga community has been amazing.

Pop in for a free estimate during opening hours:
🕙 10:00am – 3:00pm
📅 Tuesday to Saturday

We pride ourselves on providing friendly, old-fashioned customer service and quality workmanship you can trust.

With over 30 years of sewing experience and more than 10 years specialising in clothing alterations, Leanne is here to help with everything from hems and repairs to resizing, zip replacements, and getting your favourite clothes fitting perfectly again.
