Yesterday I discovered that Fable cant stand on one leg at skate school. That sent me into a spiral, questioning everything, but mostly my parenting.
So today, this is my solution.
Hopefully once she nails this she will be able to skateboard.

Parenting is full of these kinds of stresses.

Fables been organizing some more work for me.
She bought me this design last night.
A shirt with flared sleeves and flared overalls (preferably an all in one boiler suit apparently) a belt.
And a quilted jacket with flared sleeves.
.and left me to interpret this. I have no idea if this is the style for 8 year olds atm or whether its just HER style.

Im already busy. If you are waiting its being done. 😅

Dont let Perfection get in the way of a good time.

I love my new jumper.
I simply couldn't care less about all my mistakes and whoopsies. I actually plan for those anyway. Infact thats the only planning i do.
Whenever I make a mistake I have a little conversation with myself about how we are going to make it this work as a positive opportunity, rather than a negative.

So no, iv never quite understood what i gain from perfection compared to what i gain from resilience.

This is why I love freestyle knitting.
